As many people now know that OnePlus is also known for its OxygenOS Open Beta updates community form. And currently, OnePlus is among the few smartphones brand whose already ahead working on Android 9.0 Pie. Oneplus already launched two open beta’s OxygenOS updates for Android 9.0 Pie. These updates are only for those OnePlus users who have signed up for the Open Beta Community. Of course, these updates are not official updates, so there are always for these updates for being unstable but the plus point is you get to experience the upcoming latest features before other official updates.
Now OnePlus recently again come up with another Open Beta 3 updates for the Android 9.0 Pie. Mainly this patch is for mostly fixing bugs and improving overall stability, but there are some other interesting features and improvements as well.
The changelog on this update says that the users can expect the better Face Recognition unlock and Fingerprint Scanner. There is also support for the Google Assistant and other third-party assistant apps. You can also launch the assigned assistant through the power button by holding it for 0.5 seconds.
One other interesting feature is that OnePlus has also extended the support for the Parallel Apps by including IMO, UBER, OLA, Telegram, Discord. The previous major update like OnePlus Switch app is really a lot more useful because they have improved it too, by making it broader support for the other Android devices as well.
As I said there are still some stability issues as well like the Google pay isn’t properly working and some other apps as well, so keep that in mind before going for this update.
